Big Chat 3

We joined forces with Sefton Health and Wellbeing Board for Big Chat 3 to talk about the work we do together towards improving health and wellbeing in the borough. It was also a chance for people to hear how their views from previous Big Chats had been used to help develop our joint Sefton Health and Wellbeing Strategy - the overarching, borough wide plan that sets out the shared priorities of partners involved in health and social care - as well as how they were beginning to inform our CCG 5 year strategy.

Big Chat 4

Called 'strategy into action', this event focused on how we used people's views and experiences from previous Big Chats, Mini Chats and other public engagement activities to finalise our 5 year strategy for improving services. Held on 18 November 2014, it was a chance to talk more with people about how we intend to achieve our vision for better, more joined up care, which is provided as close to people's homes as possible. During workshop sessions, we asked attendees what they thought about this 'locality' model of care and how it might work for them.

Big Chat 5

We combined this Big Chat with our annual review event on Thursday 10 September 2015. It was a chance for people to hear about our performance and achievements during 2014-2015, as well as giving their views about some of our key areas of work in the year ahead. Copies of our annual report and accounts were available for people to take away. Looking to the future, people heard about our Shaping Sefton programme and our plans to transform services - particularly community services.

Mini Chats

These are more focused events that give people the chance to hear about our emerging health and transformational programmes and give their ideas about how they could be further shaped.

Big Chat 8

This summer’s Big Chat was a chance for us to feedback in a ‘you said we did’ style session about a number of schemes and initiatives we discussed with residents at previous events. In addition, we asked people for ideas and opinions on how we can balance the books and manage our finances in this challenging time for all NHS organisations.
